Seminars & Events
Annual conferences are held in a three-year cycle: with AAPOR in North America, in connection with the ESOMAR Congress in Europe, and in the third year in a new location. This arrangement permits WAPOR members to meet with academic, commercial, and government researchers from the main centers of survey research around the globe. Our most recent annual conference was held June 14-16 in Hong Kong. Please feel free to download the final program for full conference details.
The 66th Annual Conference will be held jointly with AAPOR in Boston, Massachusetts, USA during the dates of May 14-16, 2013. The location is set for Boston University. Please see the conference webpage for more information. More information on the upcoming conference will be posted when it is available.
Meetings to discuss professional and methodological issues are held at various locations around the world with the aim of bringing WAPOR programs closer to its members, wherever they may be. We have just wrapped up the WAPOR V Latin American Congress on Public Opinion in Bogotá, Colombia held September 19-21, 2012. More information on the seminar can be found below. Regional meetings in recent years were held in Mexico, Peru, Spain, Poland, Italy, Slovenia, and Hong Kong.
